Omg!!!! Food was AMAZING!! I got the Mac n queso and the chimichurri plantain sandwhich. The servings were generous the prices were fair and the flavor blew my taste buds away. This is my first time visiting North Carolina and I’m sad I won’t have Jose and Sons when I go back to Jersey !!! The bartender Daniel was my server and he was extremely accommodating and helpful. He also whipped up a peach Arnold Palmer for me which was like the food.. amazing !!!!!

Staff is super friendly. Food is spot on. Everything we've ever gotten has been fantastic. Atmosphere is just right. Try the triad con Pollo, it never disappoints. Their sweet tea is awesome

Joe’s and Son Mexican Restaurant has some really good food. The service was okay—not the best when it came to communication or attentiveness—but it wasn’t terrible either. What really stood out was the food. I ordered the chicken fajitas, and they were very flavorful and well-cooked. The chips and salsa were on point, fresh, and addicting. Definitely the kind of place you go for the food more than the service, but the flavors make it worth it. If you like this review, comment and like.

Great experience from the host to the server , food expediting and manager touching tables. Best Mexican restaurant so far with exquisite taste. We had a shrimp ceviche to start off (tropical) which included pineapple which added an extra sweet kick to tame the lime. I had a plate where I got to choose three items and it came along with rice and beans. The beans and rice tasting amazing. Usually I’m whatever about the rice and beans and they taste bland or like nothing at times but here they have a perfect taste and you can tell they make the food with love. I had a chile relleno stuffed with carnitas, an enchilada with carnitas as well in mole sauce , and a barbacoa quesadilla. Server was Billy and he was constantly checking out refills and bringing chips and asking how everyone was doing so often. Great all around thank you! Will definitely recommend this place and continue to come.

Had out of state friends in town for the day & we met in the middle and found Jose & Sons. The plantain sandwich was really delicious. Place had good vibe. Their chips were actually outstanding - not like they came from a bag. Our friends enjoyed it so much they told the staff that if they lived in town they would eat here weekly.

Mario was awesome, super attentive and food was amazing! With a flick of his wrist handcrafted nachos and salsa flies on the table with culinary skill only paralleled by Mexican masters. Not only this, but he dropped off our tres leches with unparalleled skill, something I haven't seen in my entire career of being a server. I am envious of the absolute aura of this man.

We had such a great experience at this Mexican restaurant! The service was absolutely wonderful — our waiter was extremely friendly, attentive, and genuinely cared about whether everything was okay and if we needed anything. We felt very well taken care of throughout the whole visit. The food was delicious! I especially recommend the nachos and their salsa — they were incredibly flavorful and fresh. Overall, everything we tried was tasty and well-prepared. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for great Mexican food and excellent service. We will definitely be coming back!

The food was delicious, the drinks and food had a fresh, homemade feel. I'm new to town! I'm from New Hampshire, and the food is different here! It feels fresh and flavorful, unlike traditional Mexican restaurants. The service was excellent, attentive, and friendly, this has become my favorite place. I've been twice, and it hasn't disappointed either time.
